~ The Most Embarrassed Day In Class ~

Yesterday, Miss Zu asked us to pick our own topic and the main ideas for the term paper and then we were going to explain them to the whole class. I had been paired with Muaz for the term paper. Both of us will work hard to get the term paper done and make it excellent. So, the lesson for today was NARROWING A TOPIC.

NARROWING A TOPIC
- PROCESS OF NARROWING A TOPIC :
  ~ CHOOSE A GENERAL/BROAD TOPIC
~ NARROW THE SCOPE OF THE GENERAL TOPIC
~ DETERMINE THE FOCUS OF YOUR CHOSEN TOPIC

Muaz and I had done what Miss Zu asked us to do. We had picked a topic and also had searching for the main ideas.

When Muaz's name was called, it was our turn to present. I knew that Miss Zu was in a bad mood when she called Muaz's name. But, both of us went in front of the class with proud as we had successfully did the works that Miss Zu gave us. Unfortunately, we were scolded by her as soon as we showed the focussed topic. I had forgotten that she had been telling us to take a topic for the local issues. Which means all of our effort was such a waste. But, Miss Zu asked us to think about the new main ideas. But, there was nothing that me and Muaz could thinking about. So, I just showed her the main ideas that I searched. OMG! The nightmare was about to begin and it was like a disasters. The thing that I did not like was the others were also been scolded just because of me. I'M SORRY CLASS!

~ Stop Copying Other People's Work ~

I were very exhausted. I have been hanging out with my friends at Melaka the night before the class. We went there on sunday morning and came back to UiTM just about eleven o'clock in the evening. Without hesitation, I went to sleep as soon as I came through the door of my room. When I woke up on the next morning, I felt like I just wanted to sleep for the whole day. But for the sake of my future, my CGPA and my beloved Miss Zu, I went to the class. I were lucky for coming to the class because it may be usefull for my term paper. The subjects are PLAGIARISM AND PARAPHRASING.

PLAGIARISM

[WRITE EXACT WORDS AND PUT THEM IN '.....']

PARAPHRASE

  WORDS

~ CHANGE THE GRAMMAR AND SENTENCES STRUCTURE
  ~ USE SYNONYMS WHERE APPROPRIATE
  ~ CITE THE ORIGINAL SOURCE

Actually, today is the first time I entered the computer lab although this is my third semester in UiTM Segamat. I was very excited but at least I behaved like I did not even care about it. After we were all had taken our place, Miss Zu asked us to choose our computer because we were all going to sit there until the end of the semester. ~ First Day Of Class ~

On the first day of class, we were all given a task. We were told to work in pairs. So I decided to paired up with Zul. Each of the pairs must introduced their own pair to the whole class. The most interesting about this task is all of the students must give four facts and one of them are false facts about their pair. Then, the whole class will have to guess which one is the false fact.

Me and Zul have the advantages because we know about each other very well. It is because we were in the same class since last semester. All we have to do is create a false fact about each other.

4 FACTS ABOUT ZUL :
   - always think that he is a handsome guy
   - his hobby is swimming
   - have a girlfriend
   - a hardworking person (FALSE)

4 FACTS ABOUT ME :
   - wants to be a soldier before entering UiTM Segamat
   - play rugby since highschool
   - likes to hanging around with friends
   - love cats (FALSE)

But unfortunately, it takes only one try for the whole class to guessed our false facts. At least I were enjoying the class very much. I am looking foward to be teached by Miss Zu.
